Araceae Philodendron Monstera deliciosa

Availability: In stock (5)

Origin: Native to tropical forests of southern Mexico and Central America.

Ideal conditions: Prefer bright, indirect light, although it will also tolerate low light. Keep the soil evenly moist, but not soggy. Never let the plants stand in water. High humidity is ideal, but philodendrons tolerate the low level of humidity in most homes. Feed using half strength fertilizer during the growing season.

Ease of care: Easy Breezy

Notes: This tropical plant is none of its large, perforated leaves that can grow up to 36”. Younger plants have heart-shaped leaves that begin to split over time as they age. Provide a stake or moss post for these guys to climb and you will encourage larger more dramatic leaves.

Philodendrons are excellent for helping purify the air.

Pot: 6" Monstera shown here in our Perfect Pot, 7.25" x 5.5" & the 10" is shown Modern Pot in matte white. Sold separately.

No two plants are alike, but they are all special. Yours may not be the one pictured, however it will be a healthy happy new friend that meets our high standards. Unless noted, pots and planters are sold separately.
