Pilea peperomioides in Glass Pot with tumbled stones

Availability: In stock (1)

This Pilea Peperomioides comes planted in a clear glass pot with saucer, and with tumbled stone accents.

Origin: China. Distributed widely by Norwegian missionary Agnar Espegren.

Ideal conditions: Prefers medium to bright indirect light.  Thrives in well-draining soil. Allow top 1-2” of soil to dry before watering. If leaves droop, it needs water.

Ease of care: Moderate

Notes: A mature Pilea grows babies (“pups”) through the soil.  Once they have reached ½ size of the mother plant, they can be removed with a clean, sharp knife.  Allow to callus over for a few days and re-pot. Or stay with the mother and continue to grow.

Pilea peperomioides more commonly known as 'Chinese money plant', 'pancake plant', 'UFO plant'.

Pot: The clear glass pot is 6.25" with a drain hole and removable saucer. The tumbled stones are Green Aventurine (a form of quartz) and petrified wood.
